Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in multi-family residential properties. A strong understanding of various piping materials and leak detection is essential to your success. Additionally, you will interpret blueprints, manage project materials, and implement eco-friendly installations, all while maintaining accurate records. Reliability, flexibility, and strong collaboration skills are key as you contribute to our commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in multi-family residential buildings.
• Work with various piping materials, including copper, PVC, CPVC, PEX, steel, and cast iron.
• Detect and repair leaks both internally, externally, and underground.
• Perform drain cleaning and address sewage backups.
• Interpret blueprints and job specifications related to plumbing systems.
• Assess material requirements and quantities for new projects and ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and projects assigned.
• Install eco-friendly fixtures, such as low-flow faucets and tankless water heaters.
• Utilize specialized techniques and tools, such as welding and working with unique piping materials.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.

Requirements:

• Experience in multi-family maintenance or a related field.
• Relevant certifications are preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not essential.
• Strong flexibility, reliability, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to travel to job sites as required.
• Valid, up-to-date driver's license.
• Personal vehicle and tools are essential.
